"Fair billing, but cancellation could be clearer"
I signed up for the monthly Schoolism plan, the pricing was laid out clearly before I checked out. I also got a renewal email ahead of time, so I didn’t feel like they were trying to slip in a sneaky charge, which I really appreciate. Companies should be upfront about money, and in this case, they mostly were.
The only thing that bugged me a little was that the cancel button wasn’t as easy to find as it should be in the account settings. It’s not a huge deal, but I do think making cancellation simple is the honest thing to do. Overall though, the billing felt fair and not shady

"Good lessons, but pacing can be a bit tough"
I really like that schoolism lets you watch the lessons whenever you want, because that part is super helpful. But even with that flexibility, the course pace can still feel hard to keep up with if you’re also juggling work or school. I do wish there was a little more guidance for people who learn a bit slower or need extra time. The content is really good overall, it’s just not always as flexible as I personally need it to be

"Found the downloads easily"
I was expecting it to be a hassle, but nope, the class files were easy to find and downloaded just fine for me. So yeah, surprisingly smooth

"Helpful for improving my illustration work"
I use Schoolism mainly to get better at illustration for my freelance projects, it’s been useful. I like it most when the teachers show their actual process instead of just talking through theory. Umm, some lessons do feel a little slow or kind of dated, but overall I still get value from them. I’ve picked up a few practical things that I actually use in client work.

"I’ve been enjoying the lessons on Schoolism…"
I’ve been enjoying the lessons on Schoolism so far. A lot of the topics are explained in a way that actually clicks, even when the subject matter is a little more challenging. A few instructors move a bit quickly at times, so I did have to pause or rewatch certain parts, but it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, the lessons feel clear, useful, and not overwhelming

"Canceling was super easy"
I canceled my Schoolism subscription and it was painless, it only took about a minute. No weird back and forth or hoops to jump through. I really appreciate when canceling something is actually that simple.

"Really solid and easy to stay focused"
I was impressed with the video and sound quality. Everything felt clear and well put together, not like something cheap or rushed. The lessons were easy to follow and comfortable to watch, which made a big difference for me because when something feels polished, I just feel more motivated to keep going and stay focused

"Friendly and Helpful Community"
The community has been active and easygoing, which I really appreciated. I was able to get feedback from other students fairly quickly. It’s not perfect every single time, but overall it felt welcoming and helpful

"I’ve been going through a bunch of the..."
I’ve been going through a bunch of the lessons, and most of them feel fresh and useful. There are a few older ones still hanging around, which I noticed right away, though to be fair, they didn’t really ruin the experience or anything. Overall, it’s been good.

"I’ve been using Schoolism for a while and…"
I’ve been using schoolism for a while and the lessons are good and easy to follow. Some teachers explains things better than others, but I was learning a lot from the demos and the homework examples. A few of the videos did feel a bit old, but the content is still useful. I would give it 4 stars.

"Classes are decent, but the refund policy makes me hesitant"
I’ve taken a couple of Schoolism classes and the content itself is good. My only issue is the refund policy feels a little tight. I wouldn’t say it’s totally unfair, but I do wish they gave you more time to figure out if a class is actually right for you after paying. I’m also not the type to fully trust customer service to make things easy if there’s a problem, so that kind of policy makes me a bit cautious.

"I’m still new to digital…"
I’m still new to digital art, but schoolism didn’t feel too intimidating to jump into. Some of the teachers explain things at a nice, slow pace, and I really like that I can go back and rewatch the videos whenever I need to. The only thing I noticed is that a few lessons felt a little advanced if you’re starting from absolute zero. Did anyone else feel that way too? Overall though, I learned a lot and it still feels beginner-friendly enough for someone like me.

"I took a couple classes on…"
I took a couple classes on Schoolism, my sketches are finally starting to look less stiff. The teachers explain things in a way that actually makes sense, and I’ve been practicing way more than I expected. Like, wow, apparently I can be consistent when the lessons don’t bore me to death.

"Actually Helpful Feedback That Made a Difference"
I started using Schoolism mostly for the assignments and feedback, i was relieved after trying it. The critiques weren’t just vague or generic — they pointed out things I completely missed in my own work, which was exactly what I needed. Sometimes the feedback takes a little longer than I’d like, and a few responses felt shorter than I hoped, so that’s why I’d give it 4 stars. But overall, it’s been genuinely useful, and I could see my work improving once I applied the notes

"Heads Up: The Site Works, But It Can Be Slow"
Just a quick warning for anyone using the site: it does work fine overall, but the menus can be a bit slow to load sometimes. Not a dealbreaker, but it can get annoying if you're trying to move around quickly.

"Great first impression from support"
My first impression was really good. I reached out about an account issue and support got back to me quickly, which I always appreciate. They kept everything simple, explained what I needed to do, and got it fixed without any back-and-forth hassle. Really happy with the experience.

"The assignments actually got me to practice things…"
The assignments actually got me to practice things I’d normally avoid, so that was useful. The feedback took its sweet time in a few cases, which was a little frustrating, but overall the work was still worth doing.

"Lots of useful courses to choose from"
I really like how much variety schoolism has. There are courses on painting, drawing, character design, and plenty of other topics, so it’s easy to pick something that fits what I’m actually trying to improve at the moment. It just makes sense to have everything in one place instead of hunting around for separate lessons every time I want to learn something new.

"Talented artists, but the teaching didn’t always land for me"
I could tell the instructors really know their stuff, which made me expect a bit more from the lessons. Some of them explained things clearly and I felt like I was actually getting it, but others moved fast or seemed to assume I already understood certain steps. That left me feeling a little frustrated at times, because I wanted to feel guided, not like I was trying to catch up. I did learn a few useful things, but for the price, I was hoping for stronger teaching overall, not just impressive artwork...

"Great value if you actually use the classes"
I signed up thinking I’d only use it once in a while, but I’ve been taking way more classes than I expected. For the price, there’s a solid mix and it feels worth it to me. I’d say it’s especially good if you like having options and can fit classes into your routine.
